Keying Fabrics / Chroma Key Fabrics
Keying or chroma keying is a production technique in which a specific color hue or chroma (typically blue or green) is removed from a video scene and replaced or keyed with a different image. In short, it is the technique in which, television, film, or video producers use computers to superimpose their subject into any number of different virtual backgrounds. Chroma Key fabrics are also referred to as blue screens or green screens and come in different finishes depending on use, with digital chroma key fabrics being slightly more reflective than standard chroma key fabrics.
