Chroma Key (TV Studio & Video)
Whenever you watch the evening news and see the weather man/woman standing in front of the weather map, you are seeing a Keying backdrop in use. Keying is a digital technology developed for special effects in television and in movies. The special color of the background allows computers to put images or scenes behind the anchor or actor.
There are a variety of fabrics that can be used to make Keying curtains. Most commonly used is Showstopper. This fabric is 72" wide heavy weight twill that is 100% polyester.
